Wild Garlic

 You know that stuff you may see growing in lawns, that looks like onions or garlic? That's because it is. Probably wild garlic like in these photos. You can harvest the whole things, but it's very hot unless you dehydrate it. Fine cat's-whiskers size tops like these make the BEST chives, and I harvested these 10 steps from my front door.

Excellent with sour cream, anchovy, MSG and a little bullion for "onion" dip. Below is a roast pork burrito with onion, tomato, and the onion dip inside, topped with tomatillo salsa and fresh garlic chives.
