Bacon Sausage Cheese Balls

An old Betty Crocker classic, Sausage Cheese Balls kind of upgraded with fresh rosemary, a bunch of green onions, pepper flakes, and a half cup of thick cut diced bacon bits just because. It's a bit decadent to taste the slightly rough cut fresh rosemary or a thick kernel of diced bacon, in an already outrageously decadent snack treat.

Also, there is a debate about using 3 or 4 cups of Bisquick. I'm in the 3 cup crowd. For fluffier, breadier, use 4 cups.

I was surprised how much the bacon thing brought to the party, both flavor and texture. If you're going to make calorie-bombs like this anyway, you may as well do it all the way. Best batch ever!

No, you don't precook the sausage. Yes, you must precook the bacon.
