Pizza Dough: Updated

  • 1 1/2 cups warm water
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons cornmeal
  • cups King Arthur flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
Mix and kneed, cover with olive oil and plastic, put in warm place and let rise 30 minutes. Punch down and break into 4 balls, freeze unused portion immediately.

Thoughts: The sugar helps make crust crispy. King Arthur is way better flour than store brands. Baking powder gives a little extra fluff, small bubbles. Yeast gives flavor and big bubbles. Use less water and add a couple tablespoons olive oil when it's humid.
