Chicken Pakora KFC style

PaKFCora?

The basic difference between pakora and western style fried chicken is the spices and the flour.

Marinate boneless thighs cloven thrice against the grain in lots of ginger and garlic, salt, red pepper, turmeric, garam masala. I also used Dale's, sugar, vinegar and lime and a diced onion for a pungent marinade.

Basically subbed out my KFC breading recipe by adding about a tablespoon of garam masala, turmeric and ground coriander and subbing out 50-50 mix of chickpea (gram) flour and corn or rice flour.

Delightful! Smells like pakora, tastes like pakora that came from... KFC. I know it's weird. I'm ok with it.
