Kale Chips


Finally got around to making these after hearing about them over at Seasoned.com . After doing a test batch in the oven, I retooled and broke out the dehydrator.

Washed, dried and trimmed kale
About 1 tbsp. melted bacon fat
About 1 tbsp. olive oil
Juice of half a lime
about the same amount white vinegar
Generous garlic salt, pepper, and grated parm over it as I tossed until it was all covered with parmesan.
A few hours later out of the 115F dehydrater and you have a tangy, cheesy, baconey container of crazy good kale chips.
